A newcomer with potential

"Pray tell, fellow bard, where will thy horse fly?" asked the first. "To the Sword Coast to busy my pen. 'Tis said that more has happend in the last six months than in the last two centuries!" The second bard twirled his lute in excitement at the mere thought of visiting Neverwinter.
"Then surely you have missed your time, fellow," said the first, "for Valindra is dead and her armies scattered."
"Not so, not so." argued the second. "The issue is far from settled. And although the new heroses have lived more adventures in six months than most will see in a lifetime, they have many more before them." He spurred his horse and galloped away. The call, "Many more!" echoed back as he went.
High Priestess Fini'they Vandree
Little is known about House Vandree. It was in perhaps the most tentative position of any house in Menzoberranzan. Their numbers were few, their compound grand, and packed House Barrison Del'Armgo has made it known that they covet the Vandree compound. In lieu of that, Matron Troken'ther Vandree tried to either win the protection of House Baenre, or get First Matron Mother Baenre to demand a civilized swap of compounds. This all did not work.
There was too much chaos among the leading houses in those times and an orderly process, as attractive as it appeared, did not fit into the schemes of Matron Baenre, who was eager to see Barrison Del'Armgo, her principle rival, get into a fight and show what it can do.
The situation did not look good, but House Vandree has a long-standing tradition of gettion into trouble and somehow finding their way back out.
The current Matron Anthiela delights in internal feuding and dangerous political ploys as much as her grand grand mother Troken'ther. So she dabbled in surface-world affairs and managed to acquire a stronghold near neverwinter.
Word has it, that she as gathered more followers there, than in Menzoberranzan!
